Farewell before Admission

This week has been a little emotional in some sense. Loosing a batch mate of PGPX class before we have even started ! Yes, a very endearing member of our class had to defer due to some personal issues. It left such an indelible impact that many of us could not believe he was serious. The interaction in last 4 months has drawn us so much close to each other that for some of us the class and life at IIMA could be very different now from what it would have been otherwise.

In the end, an eternal truth emanates from this. That the richness of our life is directly dependent on the environment around us and what we choose to make out of it. As for the first part, people and their thoughts go a long way in creating that sort of an environment. Presence / absence of certain people /thoughts / ideas can change / make / break an entire evolution. It could be for this reason, B schoolers value class profiles( quality) so much. I have started believing in it more than ever before now.

On another note, I am struggling between prep material and personal errands, perpetually wishing more hours in a day... if that is any indication of things to come / preparing for them ;)

May God bless the PGPX community.

A big Salute.
